From the artist’s website: The Kansas Thorns formed back in March of 2019. We started out as more of a garage band, just playing for fun and having jam sessions. As we realized how strong our passion was for Rock N’ Roll, we began practicing even more to fulfill our hopes of playing live. We continued to practice heavily until the coronavirus pandemic of 2020 hit the world hard. We had hopes of playing several gigs that summer to get our name out, and we eventually did on August 10th, 2020, our inaugural show in the Wildwood neighborhood. As we went our separate ways for college that fall, we began writing and putting our own works together. After a productive winter break, we had ten original songs written, eager to show our creativity! Summer came in 2021, and by the end of it, we had four gigs in a three-week span! This past summer, after a practice-filled month of June and the first half of July, we played 11 shows in the last month of summer. As we all are about to begin our junior year of college, we are thrilled with all the upcoming opportunities we have for the remaining weeks of summer! We are hoping to have an album recorded over this upcoming winter break!
