Ghost Town Blues Band – 12BBB (Twelve Bar Blues Band) – Rex Granite Band featuring Sarah Benck

Ghost Town Blues Band – Ghost Town Blues Band’s frontman Matt Isbell plays a smokin’ cigar-box guitar, and the way his bluesy riffs blend with the band’s horns, keys and back beats is a magical, supernatural experience. This Memphis-based, roots-rich band – often called, “Not your grandpa’s blues band” – won the 2021 Maple Blues Award’s B.B. King Entertainer of the Year. GTBB is also a five-time Blues Blast Music Award nominee, and International Blues Challenge Runner-up.

12BBB – Winner of the Dutch Blues Foundation’s Award for Best Blues Band, the Twelve Bar Blues Band (12BBB) plays “the blues, the whole blues and nothing but the blues.” And they do it quite well. 12BBB’s appearance at Playing with Fire will be the band’s first performance in the United States. You can expect to hear mostly originals with a mix of traditional Chicago blues and New Orleans styles.

Rex Granite Band featuring Sarah Benck – A regional favorite, the blues-rock band draws its fresh, retro sound from a variety of sources. Straight-up rock and roll, blues and gospel all play heavily in their gutsy roots-rock style. A 2-time winner of the Nebraska Blues Challenge in the Band category, a 2-time semi-finalist in the International Blues Challenge, and the most recent winner of an Omaha Entertainment & Arts Award in the Best Blues category.
