Matt Cox & The Marauders
Since the early 2000’s, singer/songwriter and Shenandoah, Iowa, native Matt Cox has been writing songs, and performing at venues all across the United States while developing his signature road-worn vocal, guitar, and harmonica style. With a song catalog consisting of more than ten full-length studio albums, Cox blends the traditions of classic country, folk, rock, rhythm and blues, both as a solo artist and with an ever-changing lineup in a group known as Matt Cox & The Marauders. Now residing in Omaha, Nebraska, Cox is a nine-time Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award winner for Album Of The Year, High Places (2018), Best Country/Folk/Americana (2009-2014, 2021, 2022), Best Blues (2008), and 2024 Iowa Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Inductee. Since the start of his career, he has shared the stage with dozens of well-known artists including David Alan Coe, Drive-by Truckers, Son Volt, Elizabeth Cook, Greg Brown, and Willie Nelson.
