Dreion is an electrifying singer-songwriter, musician, producer, and performing artist from Omaha. He was a recent contestant on The Voice where he earned a 4-chair turn from the judges! Wielding a mastery of gospel, soul, R&B, and funk, he has opened for and collaborated with iconic artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Musiq Soulchild, Lalah Hathaway, Bootsy Collins, and J. Ivy, and performed in venues and events such as the College World Series, Gillette Stadium, and the legendary Grand Ole Opry.
An esteemed alumnus from Berklee College of Music and a recipient of both the Bill & Melinda Gates Millennium Scholarship and the Warren & Susan Buffett Scholarship programs, Dreion balances a career, performing life, and being a loving husband and father. He continues to be a force not only in music, but in his community as well.
Dreion is also a proud survivor of the foster care system, and regularly champions foster care reform, partnering with various organizations such as First Star Academy, Mixed Roots Foundation, and Earth, Wind, & Fire’s Music Is Unity Foundation as an ambassador and honorary board member for underserved communities.
This free summer concert series is presented In partnership with Nelson Mandela Elementary School, Minne Lusa and Miller Park Neighborhood Associations, and other community partners.
- All concerts are free and open to the public, no ticket required.
- Attendees are welcome to bring blankets, chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, food, drinks (including beer and wine), and leashed pets!
- No hard liquor or smoking, please!
- Shows will go on regardless of weather.
