”Blue Valentine” is an annual tradition originally spearheaded by Omaha legend, MoJoPo (born Michael Joesph Pryor), 14 years ago at the 49’r, a popular bar/venue in Midtown Omaha that gave way to the development of a new CVS a decade ago. Blue Valentine serves as both a unique space/event for those who find themselves alone around Valentine’s Day , as well as a fun opportunity for connection one last time before Valentine’s Day.

About Andrew Bailie:

After extensive touring across the US/Europe with legendary gospel and funk organist Cory Henry (Aretha Franklin/Snarky Puppy/Kenny Garrett), Andrew Bailie relocated from New York City, returning home to Omaha, NE in order to pursue a new project with jazz great Dana Murray (Wynton Marsalis/Jimmy Witherspoon/Norah Jones). A founding member of Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Andrew is best known in Omaha for past projects The Jazzwholes and It’s True. Bailie has also worked with platinum recording artist Aloe Blacc, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Mononeon, members of Snarky Puppy and has shared the stage with George Clinton, Marcus Miller, Talib Kweli, Lalah Hathaway and many others.
