A heads up to blues lovers, and just plain old music lovers, in the Omaha area. An outfit called Trampled Under Foot will be gracing your city on Friday the 23rd of August. As a completely unsolicited testimonial ... Do yourself, and any friends you can bribe, browbeat or otherwise exert influence over, a favor and get down to the Downtown to see this bunch. You might not have heard about these guys yet (although they've taken home a bunch of stuff from the IBC this year), but believe me you're only going to need to see them once ... This outfit quite literally leaves people slack jawed, stunned .. and oftentimes on their feet and screaming before they realized they've left their seats. You really, seriously, need to be there!

I saw TUF in June 08 in Gladstone, MO. A family group, 2 brothers 1 sister. The sister has a great blues voice aka Janis Joplin-ish, one brother plays drums and the other brother is a fantastic guitar player. They are quite good with a very unique blues sound. THEY ARE FABULOUS.
