Route 66 this Saturday

You may have noticed a lot of car club jackets at Mercs shows. The Speed Kings, The Road Burners, The Hood Ratz, and now The Rebels have been ressurected. And then there's Uncle Dick Warsocki, the car club of one (NO ONE else is tough enough to be in a club with Dick, there's not even a name tough enough for his club)
Now these guys aren't supposed to mix, it's like the Jets and the Sharks (yeah, I'm a big Broadway musical fan, what about it?) But a Mercs show is like hallowed ground, no rumbles in there. Just last night I played at Micks and sat at a table with a Rat, a Burner, and Uncle Dick.
My point is; The Mercs bring people together. We're kinda like the Mother Teresa of roots music, unselfishly bringing people together in peace and harmony. I'm gettin all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. If the rival car clubs can get together and share a beer at a Mercs show, can world peace be far behind?

And that's exactly where we're at Sat. night. Route 66, 72nd & R It's a fairly new venue, really cool.
So put on your colors and come on out. If you're not in a club, just stencil something on a hoodie and pretend like you are. I'm thinking about getting a mini van (or an Escape or Cherokee, they're all the same) and starting a club called The Soccer Moms. I know it sounds a little gay but the jackets will have flames so it'll be cool!
