I've done some digging and found a handful of the upcoming shows at Harrah's outdoors Stir Concert Cove. While these aren't mainstream blues, they always have a blues show or two in the lineup. If anyone else gets word of more of the shows, post them here: May 25 Cake June 9 BEN HARPER & The Innocent Criminals July 3 Jason Crosby July 21 Bob Weir & RatDog |

The full lineup just came out. I was wrong on one of them, but I'll take Robert Randolph over ANYBODY, so I'm glad about that. Personally, I could live without the "revival" acts, but overall it's a pretty decent lineup. May 25: Cake May 27: Joan Jett & the Blackhearts June 1: Buddy Guy with Eric Johnson June 9: Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals with the Nightwatchman (tickets already on sale) June 14: Ziggy Marley June 16: Jonny Lang June 22: George Thorogood & the Destroyers July 3: Robert Randolph & the Family Band July 6: Emmylou Harris July 14: Blue October July 19: Moe July 21: Bob Weir & Ratdog with Keller Williams July 27: Chris Isaak Aug. 3: Willie Nelson & Family Aug. 24: Etta James & the Roots Band Sept. 28: Peter Frampton |

And admission prices... Personally, I think they're starting to gouge on prices. The first 2 years the tickets were dirt cheap. They now know they can get it, and prices are jumping. This isn't to say they don't have good entertainment, or that all of the shows aren't worth the admission, but I don't think the prices have to be as high as they are. It really makes you appreciate the Playing With Fire series, doesn't it? Fortunately, the best show of the year is also the cheapest - Robert Randolph and the Family Band. If you see one show this year, this is the show to see.
