PS Blues - new show, new music series

Starting Tuesday, July 28th, Pacific Street Blues is leaving the coolness of the air conditioned studios for the floorboards of the Barley Street Taverns to kick off our new live music series...

"Live at the Barley Street." (LBS)

LBS is NOT simply going to be another live music series- no.

We're going to record each show (3 -5 songs per band) and do interviews on the stage and then edit into radio friendly programming.

Then, each week, one of the acts will be presented on Pacific Street Blues.

We're only going to do this in July, August and September - so don't monkey about 'cause it ain't'a'gonna be around fer'ever.

The July line-up is...

Swampboy, (7-8)
Western Electric,(8-9)
Matt Cox, and (9:30 - 10:30)
Matt Woods & the Thunderbolts,(10:30 - Midnight)

Bands interested in participating in August and September should contact the booking agent at barleystreetlive@gmail.com.

(No, Rick Galusha and Jef Parker are not booking the acts for the LBS - sigh!)

Our next recording session of 'Live at the Barley Street Tavern' is Tuesday, August 25th at the Barley Street Tavern. We'll begin at 7:00 p.m. The line-up is TBA.

On Tuesday, September 29th, join us for the third recording session of "Live at the Barley Street Tavern" (just south of 62nd & Maple Streets).

The line-up this month is;

Each of the sessions by these bands will appear in the month of October on Pacific Street Blues' 'Live at the Corner of Pacific and Barley Streets' (Edited by Sid Hawkins).
