Default Thank you BSO from the Barkin' Irons!!!

Wow! What a crowd! Thank you so much for coming out to Downtown Blues inspite of the recent controversy. Some of you obviously realized that my calling out of the Kris lager band, was clearly misunderstood. There was electicity in the air tonight, and we really fed off of your energy. We gave away 100 live bootleg CD's! We hope you enjoy the disk.
Special thanks to Brian, and Michelle at DTB for always treating us well.
Very special thanks to Corey Weber from the Song Remains the Same, for letting us use his stage monitors, when ours went kaput. We also wish to thank Tim Cich owner of Bassline studios for letting us get a rehearsal in at his place before the show. We also wish to thank Jason Ferguson of Sarah Benck and the Robbers, for Ripping through a version of Crossroads
with us, that would have made Robert Johnson blush. Thank you all so much for a great turnout on a night when many of our friends couldn't make the show.

God bless you all!

Just so you all know, our upcoming studio album will be called "Cuttin' Heads," which is another bit of blues/jazz terminology rooted in African American tradition. If you wonder exactly what "cuttin' heads" means, do a Google search on the internet, You'll most likely find it if you search for blues or jazz terminology and/or history. Here is one of our favorite links for blues terminology.

The AKA Blues Connection

Actually i think this is where we came up with the name the Barkin' Irons.
Hope you enjoy.

Peace,

Johnny Knight
