Default Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit w/ guest Justin Townes Earle

A Night of Rockin' Americana Storytelling from Two Very Bad Men. This Will Be a Night to Remember...CONFIRMED!

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit return to the area as they hit the stage @ Knickerbockers, Tues. Apr. 14th in support of their critically acclaimed self-titled sophomore release. This will be their first time back since the legendary performance at the Zoo Bar's 35th Anniversary celebration last summer that made many top show lists from the area last year. That show packed the Zoo Bar and you can expect more of the same Tuesday night @ Knickerbockers. This time around the former Drive By Trucker brings very special guest Justin Townes Earle (son of Legendary Steve Earle) to open the show. I can't think of a better pairng for a night of good tunes and good people. This is going to be a certifiable rocker! Show starts at 9pm for this 18 and over event. Tix only $12 in adv. Get yours today before they are gone @ Home

What others are saying about Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit and their sophomore self-titled album:

Rolling Stone:
"...not to be missed."

Spin Magazine:
"Four Stars"

Austin American-Statesman:
"This buoyant collection arcs and evolves with a forceful ascent toward the apex."

The Tripwire:
"The sultry organ and soulful vocals set Isbell and band apart from the current gang of reverb-obsessed Americana folkers. Isbell and company have released one hell of a record."

Creative Loafing:
"Very much a collaborative effort from all the 400 Unit band members, the music is effective and entrancing, from the gentle acoustic sound of 'Seven-Mile Island' to the hard edge of 'Good.' There is a stark honesty throughout, and Jason Isbell has grown up. 4 stars."
