We are very excited to welcome back Toubab Krewe as they return with their unique blend of American rock, surf, and jazz styles with traditional West African sounds and instruments to the Box Awesome in Lincoln on Tues. Mar. 3rd. This music transcends cultures and catagories in a completely unprecedented way. I don't know if anyone on here checked out the above video link for The Bridge, but in case you missed it, here it is again for your viewing pleasure... YouTube - The Bridge: "Easy Jane": 8/29/07: The 8x10: Baltimore, MD They are billed as the "opener," but they would be worth the ticket price all by themselves. The man can make a steel sing. Should be a great set from these road tested bad boys from Baltimore. |
