This year, 2009, PS Blues was awarded the 'Keeping the Blues Alive' award. Among the other winners are David Fricke of Rolling Stones magazine. It is a nice acknowledgement for 21+ years of volunteer efforts.

This week we celebrate Keith Richards' birthday as well as play a wide girth of national and local Christmas music. We also feature a really terrific track from my English deejay friend, Mister Ally Lee, by a band he recorded, 'The Poor Boys.' The track is "She Moves on Water" and when you hear it, think of JC Fogerty (CCR) singing in front of Bob Segar's Silver Bullet Band - it a mofo rockin' good track my friend!

We also hear Ally Lee's other project, Johnny Dickinson - which I have no doubt most of you will also enjoy.

So Merry Christmas and have a safe holiday season.
