hope Everyone Is Having A Great Summer, It Has Been Sort Of Windy Lately In The Heartland. Just Got Back In Town After Trips To Las Vegas & Kansas City. When In Vegas, I Saw Sebastian Anzaldo And His Partner Doing, 'the Concert That Never Was'.. Played At The Blues On Monday Night At The Stratosphere Hotel... And I Played With An Organ Trio, At A Place Called 'the New York Cafe', Todd Smith Sat In And Sounded Great, Along With Old Omahahomie ,'kevin Lyons' Who Has Been In Vegas For Years Now, It Ws A Good Hang......last Week With Joe Cartwright We Were At The Historic 'majestic Steakhouse' And At The Heartbeat Of K.c. Jazz Clubs 'jardines'. We Played Some Good Music And One Of Them Was A Dave Stryker Composition, Which Went Over Quite Well. The Band Included Bassist Gerald Spaits, And Ray Demarchi On Drums. Joe Cartwright Is Still One Of Best Piano Players That I Have Ever Worked With, Check Him Out When Your Down There. There Is Alot Happening Here In The Omaha-lincoln Area As Well......i Performed With 'sabor' & 'son De Llano' At Celebrate Lincoln Days, And Played A Set With My Old Friend Sean Benjamin At The Zoo Bar.......these Two Groups Will Be Performing At The Zoo Bar Wednesday July 2nd At 6:00pm.......it Is An Early Show So Come Down To Lincoln And Have Some Fun.....also 'sabor Con Jorge Nila' Will Be Performing Friday Night June 27th At 'burgers & Beers' 8:00pm & At The Summer Arts Festival Sunday June 29th At 3:00pm. There Is Alot Of Talent In These Two Groups And I Encourage You To Come Hear And See What Is Going On. If You Have Any Energy Left After The Cws, We Hope To See You.
