|  Canned Heat & Watermelon Slim Saturday  This Saturday Canned Heat, Woodstock Alumni and Watermelon Slim play at the annual Soaring Wings Spring Wine and Blues Festival. The show is on the campus of the Vineyard out among the spacious rolling hills of Sarpy County. The wine is terrific and there is plenty of elbow room so take your lawn chairs and picnic baskets...but don't take beer! You just go about six miles south in Interstate I-80 at 144th Street to Springfield, Nebraska. Take, I believe, the second left after the Springfield main drag and follow the signs. Its always been a good time and the people are glad to see you.
