This will be one rockin' show at Murphy's May 10th. If you're a blues guitar enthusiast, this double-header will be one of the best nights of music this year.

Don't let Chris' overalls or sweater vest fool you - his show is high energy (and that's putting it mildly). To my ear, his guitar style sounds like BB King on steroids, at 100 mph. Add to that his soulful vocal style and you end up with a truly unique sound.

Hamilton Loomis is a super-bonus, as he tours to promote his new CD (which I've not yet heard). He adds a a little bit of funk to his music, but again it's a unique sound, not your traditional blues shuffles at all. An act not be missed, he only makes it Omaha once a year or so.
