Welcome to Omahablues.com, the new home of the Blues Society of Omaha.

All of the features of bluesgroup.com have been moved and hopefully improved on omahablues.com.

This new site is more of a message based format, but the latest news from this "News and information" category can be found on the home page.

Please take a look around, read the FAQ, and let us know if you have any questions or problems.

If you were a member of the "BSO Forums" on tntu.net, you can re-register here with your userid, and visit the "Contact Us" page if you'd like your userid removed from tntu.net.

Some improvements to the site are listed as follows..
1) Faster server
2) Blues forecast is listed on home page, as well as an Upcoming Blues page that lists more events.
3) Easier to use Online Donations, which also keep track of your membership expiration date, which can be found on this site.
4) Individual profiles for each member, including editable contact information like phone numbers and addresses, that only BSO staff can see. 5) Ability to designate yourself as a contact for a venue or a band.
6) Better mailing list system. If you were a mailing list subscriber on bluesgroup.com, you've been automatically moved to omahablues.com. To add yourself or remove yourself from the mailing list, visit this page.

[Burning Spear]

If you or any of your friends like Great Roots Reggae, than I want you to know that Reggae Legend BURNING SPEAR will be in Omaha,Ne. at Club Roxbury on Tuesday August 21, 2007, 21 & Over.

There will also be an In Store at an Omaha Homers Location, to be announced when the info develops.

Tickets go on sale the first week of April 2007 through Etix.com and all Homers Music Locations.
